Modeling and Data Analysis

This workshop will cover what Data is, how to load preprocessed datasets and perform basic wrangling and cleaning, perform basic statistical analysis as well as computational modeling approaches. This focuses less on the overall world of Data Science and more narrowly on Data, Data Modeling and Analysis.

Applied AI methods

This one day workshop will involve an introduction to and overview of AI as a concept, as well as a practical hands-on introduction to AI tools that can enhance your industrial, professional or academic application.

Introduction to Data Science

This bootcamp style workshop will introduce concepts of Data Science, python, Data wrangling and processing, visualization, basic statistical modeling, computational modeling and scientific communication

Computer graphics for Scientists and Engineers

This workshop will cover concepts of computer graphics from a practical approach, guiding participants in concepts of geometrical shapes, lines, curves, surfaces, 3D models, applied color theory, visualization approaches for effective communication, and lighting and shading concepts. The OpenGL API will be used for demonstration and example code purposes and some python as well.

Hands-on Project courses

Applied Data Science - Engage with expert instructors to actually perform a Data Science project, from raw data sets which you will wrangle, develop a scientific question about, perform initial visualization and analysis, modeling and form results. This will culminate in a formal communication report that you can then make part of a repository to add to your professional portfolio. You will work in a team, meet milestones and present your work.
